This half-day, practical training is designed specifically for prescribers and clinicians who want clear, evidence-based guidance on safe, person-centred ADHD medication management across the lifespan. Suitable for those already prescribing or those new to ADHD Management. Delivered in partnership with ADHD Direct LTD.

What this training covers
This 4-hour session provides practical, evidence-based guidance on:
- Diagnostic considerations relevant to prescribing
- Medication classes for ADHD: stimulants and non-stimulants
- Dosing strategies & titration (children, adolescents & adults)
- Monitoring: cardiovascular risk, growth, sleep, appetite, and mental state
- Managing side effects and when to switch or stop treatment
- Co-morbidities (anxiety, mood disorders, ASD, substance use) and how they influence prescribing
- Real-world case examples and common prescribing dilemmas
- Best practice in collaborative care and shared-care arrangements
- Effective communication with patients and families to support adherence and safety
